This year's SCOA Sprint Championships took place at TVOC's Urban League event at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory near Didcot on Monday 26th August. The competition was in two parts, with races in the morning determining the start order for the afternoon's race. The combined times from the two races were used to determine the overall results, and thus the SCOA Champions.
Exactly 100 SCOA competitors took part on a beautiful sunny Summer's day. In Men's Open, James Foord of TVOC beat Keith McCarthy of RAFO by the narrowest of margins to take the win. In Women's Open, Kezia Jukes of BAOC took a convincing win over Blanka Collis of TVOC. The full set of prizewinners is shown below:
