Information and results from the SCOA league

The SCOA League

The SCOA league is based on performance at a number of colour-coded events held through the season in the region. Your total score is the best 6 results out of all the events attended. The winner of each course gets 100 points per event, with other scores scaled pro-rata based on the time taken. The League currently applies to the White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Green, Blue and Brown courses (but not the Red course).

SCOA League 2010-2011 Final Results

Here are the SCOA League results after the 12th and final round Blackwood) for 2010/11. Any queries or complaints, please contact me via the webmaster. The prizegiving is planned to be held at the first event for the 2011/12 season. This will be the SOC event at Slufters Enclosure near Lyndhurst, on Sunday 11th September.

These are the final results for the season.

Please note that the League scores do NOT include the Red course this season. Also note that the original round 5 (TVOC - Wendover) was cancelled due to the snow - subsequent rounds have been renumbered.

The 2007-2008 SCOA League Season Final Scores are now available. Congratulations to all the winners who will receive an individually hand-crafted mug to commemorate their win. The prizes will be presented at 1 pm at SOC's Redshoot event on Sunday 7 November which is also the first League event of the 2008-2009 season.

The SOC event is also providing free coaching exercises either before or after your run. Try the short exercises in Pacing, Aiming Off or Window Orienteering to enhance your orienteering skills. See the Southampton Orienteering Club website for details of the event and free coaching.

SCOA League 2006-7: Final Results

The Final results for the 2006-7 SCOA League have been updated to correct the results for the Red course. The results are available as a PDF file giving the results for all courses.

Prizes for the winners of each course will be presented at one of the early events of the 2007-8 season.

SCOA League 2005-6: Final Results

Final results for all rounds of the SCOA League for 2005-6 have been calculated and are below.

Prizes will be presented at the CompassSport Cup Final at Greenham Common on 15th October. Prize winner will get one of these magnificent mugs.
